The Shimm se formó en Auckland (Nueva Zelanda) en el año 2005. A finales de 2008, "Eyeball" (cantante y compositor) se traslada a Zaragoza con su familia y comienza a buscar nuevos músicos con los que crear un nuevo The Shimm. Se incorpora Espe Faci al grupo como bajista y tras el paso por la banda de algunos músicos, The Shimm incorpora a mediados del 2011 a Richi Pérez como guitarra solista y Miguel Sanjuan como batería, completando así una nueva formación estable y preparada para afrontar nuevos proyectos. En todo este tiempo, el grupo ha ido sumando algunos logros como el 1º Premio en el II Concurso de Aragón Musical Radio ó la 3ª posición en el Ambar Z Music 2011. Actualmente se encuentran inmersos en la grabación de un EP en los estudios Séptimo Cielo. The Shimm son ahora un cuarteto de pop/rock con influencias que van desde Weezer, Beatles, Ash, These Animal Men o The Smiths hasta Teenage Fanclub, Pink Floyd y Radiohead entre otros.
The Shimm formed in Auckland (New Zealand) in 2005. In late 2008, "Eyeball" (singer and songwriter) moved to Zaragoza (Spain) with his family and began searching for new musicians to create a new The Shimm. He found Espe Faci for bass and back up vocals and after having a few musicians pass through, The Shimm has since mid-2011 mid-2011 Richi Perez on lead guitar Miguel Sanjuan on drums, completing a new stable formation ready to take shit on... During all this time, the group has garnered some success, 1st Prize in the second edition of Aragon Music Radio Song Competition and 3 rd position in the Amber Z Music 2011. They are currently recording an EP at Septimo Cielo Studios in Zaragoza. The Shimm is now a pop / rock quartet with influences ranging from Weezer, Beatles, Ash, These Animal Men and The Smiths to Teenage Fanclub, Pink Floyd and Radiohead among others.
